Altered Carbon Reveals Cast, Old and New Faces

The first season of Netflix’s Altered Carbon was released last year around February and we’re now getting some more insight on the next installment of this futuristic sci-fi show. Based off of novels under the same name, the uniqueness of this world is the use of “sleeves” where a person can literally change their body. So, it makes perfect sense that in the first season we had Joel Kinnaman portray main character Takeshi Kovacs and now Marvel’s own Anthony Mackie will be taking the lead. In a Twitter post, the official page gave us a small tease at the new faces, such as Mackie and Luke Cage’s Simone Missick (cue excitement), but some old faces as well.

As you can see, Renée Elise Goldsberry is returning as Quellcrist Falconer and Chris Conner is returning as Poe, the AI who runs the hotel The Raven (he essentially is the hotel) and is the embodiment of Edgar Allen Poe. Quellcrist was thought to be dead, but Takeshi found out she was still alive at the end of season one, so I’m assuming he will be in search of her. And Poe was “killed” in the season finale, but considering he is an AI, it seems like there was a way to bring him back.

As we find out more, we’ll let you know!
