Amazon Prime’s Sneaky Pete Will Not Get a Fourth Season

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”20393″ img_size=”900×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]I had once written up a review on how Amazon’s Sneaky Pete was a series you needed to watch. Co-created by Bryan Cranston, the show stars Giovanni Ribisi as a con-man who takes the identity of his cellmate. The third season may have been released on May 10th, but Amazon has officially canceled the drama series.

Season three saw Blake Masters take over David Shore’s position as showrunner. Roy Price, who was the Amazon Studios head at the time; was the one who greenlit Cranston’s proposal after CBS passed of the series. Why Sneaky Pete was canceled, THR did not reveal. It does seem that many Amazon originals do not go past a third season, who this could just be strategy.

Sneaky Pete starred Ribisi, Marin Ireland, Peter Gerety, Margo Martindale, Shane McRae, Libe Barer, Jane Adams, Bryan Cranston, and Jacob Pitts.

Have you watched season three of Sneaky Pete? What do you think of the news of the cancelation?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
