AMC’s Walking Dead Spinoff Casts three Actors for Lead Roles

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”26081″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]A new Walking Dead series is in development and three actors have been cast in lead roles. The new series is said to follow two female protagonists while focusing on the first generation of children to come from after the start of the apocalypse. Alexa Mansour, Nicolas Cantu, and Hal Cumpston have been cast as the three major roles. The second lead female role has not been cast yet.

No character specifics are available yet, but Variety states that sources say that Mansour’s character is a “good-natured rule-breaker”. Likable and funny, she holds a deep sadness inside her.

Cantu’s character is “small for his age” and very friendly. The actor also has a black belt in karate, which will probably come in handy for the AMX series.

Cumpston’s character is “big for his age”. He’s a shy loner and hates that his size scares people.

The untitled Walking Dead spin-off will begin production in Virginia this summer and should premiere on AMC in 2020. The first season will have ten episodes.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
