According to The Wrap, actor and director Andy Serkis is currently in talks to play Alfred Pennyworth in the upcoming film. These are just talks, but it is an interesting choice.

If Serkis was to be Alfred, he’d join Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne himself, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as The Riddler, and Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon. Serkis would have some huge shoes to fill, considering the likes of Michael Caine and Jeremy Irons have played the iconic role in recent films.

Serkis has worked before with Reeves in the Planet of the Apes trilogy.

Currently, Serkis is directing Sony’s upcoming Venom 2.

What do you think about Serkis possibly playing Alfred in The Batman?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
