Two of the most talented figures in the entertainment industry are teaming up for an upcoming romance drama. Angelina Jolie and Christoph Waltz will play in the adaptation of Every Note Played. STX Films had acquired the global rights for the film. In Every Note Played, Jolie will play Karina. Karina is the ex-wife of an accomplished concert pianist – played by Waltz – named Richard.
Richard has lost much and is estranged from his own daughter. He’s also been diagnosed with ALS in his hands. The disease worsens and as a result, Richard is not able to continue playing the piano on his own. This is when Karina becomes his reluctant caregiver.
Michael Sucsy will direct.
STXfilms Motion Picture Group chairman Adam Fogelson put out a statement:
