[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”28570″ img_size=”800×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Two months ago Warner Bros. named Ann Sarnoff as the new CEO, replacing former CEO Kevin Tsujihara. Today it was announced that Ann has officially been sworn in so to speak as the new leader for WB. Sarnoff sent out a letter to her employee’s with goals and ambition in mind.
“This is an exciting—and challenging—time in the entertainment industry, and we need to keep looking at new business models, new competitors, new content platforms and formats—and finding new opportunities,”
“With our talent, expertise and unmatched IP, we’re in a great position to capitalize on them.”
Ann continued in her message to say she is excited to help build on the company’s legacy and that she is ready to roll up her sleeves and get busy.
Many hope that Ann will bring change to WB, most notably the DC films division which has seen its fair share of problem since 2013. Only time will tell how well this relationship between Mrs. Sarnoff and Warner Bros will turn out, but we for one sure hope its a great one.
