Scott Lang was the Ant-Man. Scott Lang was Goliath. (Well…he was Big!) He fought against other super villains (Yellow Jacket). He fought along with Captain America in “Civil War” He fought along side the Wasp against the Ghost. He was a hero. But all of these things were not what made him a hero. What made him a hero was his love and dedication to his young daughter Cassie. Even while under house arrest his main goal was to entertain his daughter. That is what made him a hero, especially in his daughters eyes.
Apparently, Jackson Sze, the Senior Concept Illustrator at Marvel Studios, also wanted to explore this relationship as he released several pieces of concept art that center around the possibility of Cassie (Abby Ryder Fortson) suiting up with her dad for some tiny adventures.
Exploring activities Scott could do with Cassie in #AntManAndTheWasp I enjoyed giving Cassie her own suit. pic.twitter.com/oqhJSg547f

This never got past the concept stage but it showed that Sze understood the importance of Scott’s relationship with Cassie.
How cute would that have been? It’s almost a shame it never came to fruition. The closest Cassie came to that adventure was the slide down the stairs in their cardboard escape pod. Would a suited up Cassie have been a distraction to the story or would you enjoyed the humor in it? Let us know at GVNation.
