Apple’s New Game Subscription Service is Called Apple Arcade

During this event, Apple has revealed that it will be releasing a game subscription service that will be called Apple Arcade that is designed for mobile, desktop, and living room usage. You will be able to pay a monthly subscription for unlimited access to various titles from the Apple Store.

Apple is partnering with Sega, Konami, Disney, Sumo Digital, Cartoon Network, and more, which will be about 100 exclusive games that make up this service. According to the company, there will be more games added along the way. You will also be able to play offline and future game updates and DLC will come at no additional cost. On top of that, you will be able to pick up where you left off on any and all devices. Apple Arcade will be available this fall in over 150 countries; pricing has not been released yet. Apple Arcade will not be cloud-based.
