Ever since the theatrical release of Justice League, Zack Snyder fans (and some DC fans) have been asking for the release of Zack Snyder’s version of Justice League. Zack Snyder had to leave the project because of personal reasons and thus Warner Bros. hired Joss Whedon (Director of both The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron) to finish the project in time for the November 2017 release.
After the negative critical and audience reception of Justice League, DC has bounced back with Aquaman starring Jason Momoa that lead to good reviews and approximately $1 billion box office performance, and Shazam! received high praise and modest box office success. It’s been months since the fans have asked for the “Snyder Cut”, and many people don’t believe that it is true, but Jason Momoa confirms that it’s real.
Jason Momoa visited Zack Snyder’s “Army of the Dead” set and had this to say in his caption:
It’s great that Jason and Zack still talk and hang out as great friends. How do you feel about this recent development? Let us know in the comments.
Just a guy that grew up on DC and the MCU, anime, and video games and loves traveling across the world and learn about different cultures.
