During his appearance in the Justice League, Arthur Curry (Jason Mamoa) had expressed the idea that he didn’t necessarily fit in with his people from Atlantis. His reasons at that time remained unspoken but with the Aquaman moviebook, “Arthur’s Guide to Atlantis,” his reasons are now revealed, or at least more clear. Well, as clear as they can be when written by a thirteen year old boy as shown in this excerpt posted on Twitter. (Full text can be seen on Twitter)

From his letter, it would seem that part of young Arthur’s venom is directed at his once mentor Vulko (Willem DaFoe). It will no doubt be this relationship that will bring the now adult Arthur back to Atlantis. As the moment approaches, are you excited to see Aquaman come to the theaters. I know I am.
