[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”27926″ img_size=”900×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]With the WB’s Arrow approaching its last season, some cast changes have been made. It was previously announced that series veteran Emily Bett Rickards who played Felicity Smoak is not returning as a series regular. Now it has also been revealed that Colton Haynes who plays Roy Harper is also not returning for the final season as a show regular.
Haynes made an announcement on Twitter as he apparently was concerned that fans thought it was his idea.
Getting a lot of angry messages so just to clarify…I didn’t exit the last season of Arrow. I was not asked to come back for the final season as a series regular. But y’all know Roy…he’s never gone for too long 🤗🤗🤗

Where that leaves him is uncertain. For her part, Series EP Beth Schwartz expresses her affection for Haynes and his character.
We hope to have him back. We love him and he’s obviously one of the foundations of the show.
However, she has made no mention on how that might happen in the 10 episodes allotted for the final season of Arrow.
For you Arrow fans, are you disappointed that neither Haynes nor Richards will be returning as show regulars for the swan song of Arrow? Express that disappointment or perhaps, indifference with us at GeekVibesNation.
