Back in 2016, 20th Century Fox had made an Assassin’s Creed movie, which I was highly anticipating because of how much the franchise was a significant impact on my gaming life. But when the film released, it was a huge disappointment. In this article, you will try to decide if you would either want Disney to make Assassin’s Creed into a TV Series or as a film franchise.

Before we start, yes Disney canceled the Assassin’s Creed sequel, which is honestly a good thing. That way, Disney can reinvigorate the franchise. My issue with 2016 Assassin’s Creed is that Justin Kurzel tried to even out the moments where Cal Lynch is in and outside of the animus, and it also fails at that.

Instead of even out the two, the ratio was off. Instead of being 50(Outside the Animus):50 (Inside the Animus), it was 70:30 but ultimately it should have been 20:80. With the mythology of Assassin’s Creed, most of the essential and entertaining developments happen in the past.

Instead of having an overall universe like the MCU or the DCEU, Assassins Creed can be a trilogy. Focusing on one era then once that trilogy is done, Disney can go on to the next trilogy.

Or as another option, we can get Assassin’s Creed as a TV series and putt it on Hulu. Many online fans have their issues with Game of Thrones, and that is fine, but facts are facts. And, Game of Thrones is one of the most popular TV series of all time, and the reason is because of how hard David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have worked on this series. If we can get the next show runners, they will take the time and make sure that the budget is spent wisely. Then we will get a show that might even be bigger than Game of Thrones.

The big test will be with Netflix and their show The Witcher. To see if other streaming services can handle big-budget and also to see if the video game franchise will thrive within a tv series. Right the trailer for The Witcher is incredible, so let us hope the whole series can keep the same energy.

Would you like to see Assassin’s Creed films as trilogies or a big-budget Tv series? For me, they both have their advantages. But I would like to have Assassin’s Creed as a big-budget tv-series with a show runner that is a big fan of the franchise and is willing to do best for the franchise.
