Bad Robot and WarnerMedia Close to a $500 Million Deal

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”24584″ img_size=”720×480″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]WarnerMedia is currently in its final negotiations with J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot production company. The company he runs with his wife has had almost every major media company looking to partner up and it seems like WarnerMedia might be the winner here.

According to THR, this deal could be valued at around $500 million at the end of the day. Which would put Bad Robot’s deal right at the top of recent pacts for other producers such as the $400 million deal between Greg Berlanti and Warner Bros. TV, the $300 million with Ryan Murphy and Netflix, and the $100 million pact between Netflix and Shonda Rhimes.

Bad Robot will continue to create and develop new projects for WarnerMedia under the new deal. And according to THR, the moving process of Bad Robot from Paramount Pictures to WarnerMedia has already begun; though representatives from WarnerMedia and Bad Robot have declined to comment.
