According to a source, Batgirl is currently a big priority and the studio is even searching for a director for the project. Now, we don’t have any names as to who could direct Batgirl but this should be taken as good sign that Christina Hodson has delivered a fantastic script.
And of course, since there has been no definite proof that Batgirl is their number one priority, take this with a grain of salt. But if this is true let us all speculate who the new director for Batgirl should be.
I am a big fan of Patty Jenkins, her work on Wonder Woman is nothing but genius; she would be a safe bet. So let us think of someone new for DC. Maybe Olivia Wilde fantastic director, if you have not watched Booksmart, I suggest you watch it. The Director for Always Be My Maybe, Nahnatchka Khan is also the right choice. My last option, for the moment, will be Chad Stahelski fantastic with action and I feel like he will treat all his character with respect.
