While not a whole lot is known at this point about Matt Reeves Batman, actor Peter Sarsgaard who plays D.A. Gil Colson would let you in on one thing: it’s a powerful film. In fact, he compares it to the rawness of the alternative rock band The Pixies. Sarsgaard discussed the musical influences while talking with SiriusXM’s Jessica Shaw.
It’s so raw in that way. So, that’s what I feel like about this. It is not sanitized. It’s got a raw power to it, a raw emotionality.
