According to Game Informer via EA, the World War 2 themed Battlefield V did not meet the sales it expected for the holidays. EA said the poor sales was due to several factors including a month long delay. The company expected the game to do around 8 million copies but game fell short brining in 7.3 million . EA also said they plan to release the “battle royale” mode this March which should help increase numbers.
