The hype for The Punisher season two is encompassing me so much that I can feel it in my bones. Jon Bernthal has continued to post on Twitter and Instagram, “Tick Tock”, which cannot be a coincidence. That, on top of The Punisher Twitter page becoming more active; says to me that we should be expecting some sort of news soon. Now, Billy Russo actor, Ben Barnes has posted the same sentiment on Instagram with a picture from the third episode “Kandahar” with the caption “Tick Tock.”
Barnes will be reprising his role as Russo/Jigsaw, his face now scarred from The Punisher’s season finale where Frank literally scraped his former best friend’s face down shards of glass. If Jason Moore or anyone else from The Punisher posts “Tick Tock”, I’m really going to freak out!
Daredevil season three rocked the Netflix Marvel universe, so it’s now time to revive the hype for its successful spinoff show. Frank Castle was introduced in the first episode of Daredevil season two with a “bang”, and I can only imagine that with the dedication of its actors and everyone involved that we are in for an even more intense season. Frank Castle may have defeated all those responsible for the deaths of his wife and children but there are plenty of others that need The Punisher’s brand of justice.
