[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”10692″ img_size=”900×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Well-known movie villain icon Ben Mendelsohn can next be seen in the upcoming Captain Marvel movie. The MCU film will bring Carol Danvers (played by Brie Larson) to the big screen in preparation for Avengers 4 where we can only hope that Captain Marvel will help take down Thanos once and for all. Mendelsohn will be playing Talos, a Skrull who are all extraterrestrial shapeshifters.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Mendelsohn sat down to not only speak about the movie and his role, but the impact of superhero movies.

“I think we have something really special here, and that all comes from a finely crafted script, it’s absolutely beautiful. If you look at the business of movie-making, as both a business and art, comic book films have the best chance of making a big cultural and artistic impact.”

Then speaking in regards to Captain Marvel starring a lead female superhero, he said:

“Obviously this is a big moment for Marvel, and hopefully a sweeping change for inclusion and diversity in the industry.”

It’s nice to see that Mendelsohn has such great remarks to the film and the significance of having a lead female superhero, but also being directed by a woman. You can check out Mendelsohn and Captain Marvel March 8, 2019.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
