[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”21532″ img_size=”800×536″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]While you are waiting for Chadwick Boseman to return for the second Black Panther film by Marvel, you can also see him in the upcoming action drama movie Yasuke. This film will center around the first black samurai in Japan who fought underneath the warlord Oda Nobunaga during the 1580s. This period piece is based off of the historical tale, one that people have wanted to see adapted onto the big screen.

Boseman released a statement:

“The legend of Yasuke is one of history’s best-kept secrets, the only person of non-Asian origin to become a Samurai. That’s not just an action movie, that’s a cultural event, an exchange, and I am excited to be part of it.”

We’re very excited to hear Boseman’s role in this upcoming film and we will be sure to tell you more as we learn more. Are you excited to see this tale adapted?
