Bong Joon Ho’s Parasite is incredibly successful and keeps gaining well-deserved awards. Now, it seems that the popularity has no intentions of dying down, because apparently there are talks of doing a show on HBO. According to THR, Joon Ho is teaming up with Adam McKay. There’s no done deals, but there are talks. It may be a limited-time series that’s following up from where Parasite left off or an English-language remake.
Joon Ho and McKay would exec produce the project, along with Kate Street Picture Company’s Dooho Choi and CJ Entertainment’s Miky Lee Cho Young Ki, and Francis Chung.
On top of Parasite, Joon Ho has been behind Host, Snowpiercer, and Okja. Have you seen Parasite and would you want to see a limited-time series for HBO?
A girl with too many fandoms to count.
