When it was announced by Netflix that they would be adapting the Witcher video game into a series and none other than Henry Cavill would be playing the main character Geralt of Rivia, fan’s have been waiting for news, any news! Fear not Witcher fans, progress continues to be made.
In fact. show runner Lauren Hissrich recently retweeted a message from the casting team with the below tweet with the tagline “News coming soon guys”:

Perhaps that means some more casting announcements will be made and this project will seem, for the moment, that things are getting closer to production. Fingers crossed all around.
