With a second installment underway, we know that it will tackle Stephen King’s Misery. Lizzy Caplan will play Annie Wilkes. A feud brews between warring clans as the budding psychopath Annie Wilkes, sinks her claws in Castle Rock.
Joining Wilkes will be four additional cast members. Robin Weigert joins as Annie’s mother Crysilda Wilkes. Sarah Gadon joins as Rita Green, who is described as a “vengeful woman from Annie’s past.” Alison Wright will play a “kind-hearted local” named Valerie. And Greg Grunberg will play Sheriff Boucher, who is a local official who will face off against the dark force in Castle Rock.
Tim Robbins will also be reprising his role in season two, alongside Elsie Fisher, Yusra Warsama, Barkhad Abdi, Matthew Alan, John Hoogenakker, and Paul Sparks.
