News is flooding in for Apple’s new streaming service and the shows we’ll be seeing on it. Defending Jacob has already nabbed Chris Evans, Michelle Dockery, and Jaeden Martell for this drama that will be based on William Landay’s bestselling novel. Now we have word that Cherry Jones, Pablo Schreiber, Betty Gabriel, and Sakina Jaffrey will also join the aforementioned cast for this limited series.
Chris Evans is playing Andy Barber, who will deal with the accusation of his son Jacob (played by Martell) is a murderer. Jones will play a defense attorney named Joanna Klein, Schreiber will be Neal Logiudice who is another ADA, Gabriel will be Paula Duffy who is a detective working alongside Andy, and Jaffrey will play County District Attorney Lynn Canavan.
