Chris Evans Joins Daniel Craig in Rian Johnson’s ‘Knives Out’

If you’re Chris Evans, and believe me, I WISH I WAS Chris Evans, and if the all the speculation is true that he is hanging us his Super-Soldier persona, it means he has time for other projects. To that end, it is being reported by Deadline that Chris Evans will be joining Daniel Craig in Rian Johnson’s red-hot murder mystery movie Knives Out.

The addition of Evans would go along way in enhancing the project’s status as one of the most talked about projects going right now. Johnson, who wrote the script and is producing with partner Ram Bergman, is presently scheduled to make the movie before he starts directing a new trilogy in the Star Wars universe. As most fans know, Johnson was the Director for Star Wars: The Last Jedi and is slated to continue his work in a “Galaxy, Far, Far Away.’

Plot details for Knives Out have been closely guarded up till now. However, it is thought that it will be a modern day murder mystery in the classic whodunit style. With so many details somewhat sketchy, it is still assumed that production will likely begin this year. If that scheduling holds up, it would mean that Craig would work on this project before his work on Bond 25 begins.

As for Evans, don’t feel too bad for the actor if his star-spangled hero days are over as he is much in demand for his services these days. This includes the thriller The Red Sea Diving Resort he has coming up and he was mentioned to be in Neill Blomkamp’s Greenland during Cannes. At this time, Knives Out is expected to be his next movie.

Are you looking forward to seeing Evans stretch his legs in other roles or will he ALWAYS be Captain America to you? How good does a film sound that has both Daniel Craig AND Chris Evans?
