Chris Pratt Will Star and Exec Produce Adaptation of ‘The Terminal List’

Before he was Star-Lord, Chris Pratt was known due to his role on TV’s Parks and Recreation. Now it seems that Pratt will make a return to TV in a series he will star in and also exec produce.

Pratt is teaming up with Antoine Fuqua, who directed Magnificent Seven; and MRC, which is the studio behind HBO’s The Outsider. Together, they will develop The Terminal List. This thriller is currently in development, though no network is attached just yet.

The Terminal List will follow Pratt’s Reece after his platoon of Navy SEALS is ambushed. Reece will return home, but obviously be surrounded by conflicting memories of the events, as well as culpability. This will come into play once Reece “discovers dark forces working against him”. This drama is based on a novel by Jack Carr and according to sources, this series will be meant as a multiple-season scripted drama. Sources say it’s being shopped around to FX and other cable and streaming networks.

We’re used to seeing Pratt in lighthearted series like Parks and Rec and action films like Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World. It’s interesting that Pratt would be in a drama series, but comedic people often do well when needing to be more serious. As a fan, I’m looking forward to The Terminal List. How about you?
