Christian Bale is not showing any signs of stopping and why would he? Not only is he nominated for an Oscar for his role as Ken Miles in Ford v Ferrari, but he is teaming back up with a director who he’s had a lot of success with. Bale worked on The Fighter, which he won an Oscar for; and American Hustle with writer-director David O. Russell. Now, they’re teaming up again for Russell’s new movie, which is being fast-tracked by New Regency.
Collider reports that Jamie Foxx and Angelina Jolie are also being looked at for roles in Russell’s movie. It was also reported that Margot Robie is being looked at to star opposite Bale. Considering how large all of those actors right now, it isn’t surprising to put them all in a movie together. The working title is Amsterdam and is about a partnership between a doctor and a lawyer.
