Disney+ Shows

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

There is a lot of amazing things going on for Disney + and this is one of them! In Captain America: Civil War we see Falcon and Bucky interacting together and it is comedy gold! So, getting a series with those two is a welcome surprise.

This is what Sabastian Stan had to say,

“I’d like to explore the Falcon as a character — what kind of man is this man?”

Anthony Mackie response by saying,

“I want to see what makes him tick — how much tickin’ can that clock do,”

The chemistry on-screen and off-screen is obviously incredible, and that is going to be one of the main reasons why people will pick up the Disney+ streaming service! I really want to see Sabastian Stan use the Shield again even more so than Anthony Mackie.

Fall of 2020.

WandaVision

This is probably my least favorite news that was announced during the Marvel announcements in Hall H, but I really loved Visions and Wanda’s chemistry in Captain America: Civil War that it truly has me excited to see these two together again. Here is what Kevin Fiege and the cast had to say about the project

Feige: If you thought that logo was strange, wait until you see this show. It’s unlike anything we’ve done before.

Olsen: It’s gonna get weird, we’re gonna go deep, we’re gonna have lots of surprises and we’re going to finally understand Wanda Maximoff as the Scarlett Witch

Bettany: “I have no idea. Last thing I knew I died in Infinity War so I literally have never been this confused in front of this many people” … Every time we get to do this the stories get richer and richer and this is the richest of all… I hope you love it because this is going to be surprising and weird.

Feige: I can’t tell you how exciting and different and strange that show is going to be.

Me personally I love that the side characters are getting the spotlight in their own series as we change into the new heroes on the big screen. This new saga will be huge, I can feel it. And, yes even bigger than the Infinity Saga!

On Disney+ Spring 2021

Loki

We all cried when was saw Loki die in Infinity War, Spoiler Alert! but guess whos back? It is Loki and he will have his own story to tell. I will not say how he comes back since it happens in Endgame, but I will say that I loved the way they brought Loki back so for me I can not wait to see what they do for this Loki series for Disney+.

This is what Tom Hiddleston had to say,

“You guys saw Avengers right?” Hiddleston joked to the cheering crowd. “So he’s still that guy. And just about the last thing that happened to him was he got Hulk-smashed. So there’s a lot of psychological evolution that is still yet to happen. Kevin [Feige] has generally shown me what his plans are. I can’t tell you any of them, but it is one of the most exciting creative opportunities I think I’ve ever come across. This is new territory, a new world, new challenges, and I cannot wait to get started.”

Kevin Fiege also added

“The question I got asked more than any other question in Endgame was where did Loki go, what happened to Loki?” Feige says. “This series will answer where he went.”

Can not wait to see this Loki character arc because it will be different from the Loki we all know and love this is honestly my most anticipate MCU show on Disney+

Films

 Eternals

We got our casting for The Eternals!

  1. Richard Madden as Ikaris
  2. Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo
  3. Lauren Ridloff as Makkari
  4. Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos
  5. Salma Hayek as Ajak (The Leader)
  6. Lia McHugh as Sprite
  7. Don Lee as Gilgamesh
  8. Angelina Jolie as Thena

This is what Angelina Jolie had to say about The Eternals,

“I’m so excited to be here,” Jolie told the crowd. “I’m going to work 10 times harder [than on previous action films], because I know what it means to be an Eternal, to be part of this family, we all know what the task ahead is, and we know what you deserve.”

This is probably just me, but hearing Angelina Jolie says, she will work “10 times harder” has me very excited, even though it might be lip service, anyway if you look at her resume you can tell she gets into her roles especially in her action films.

Kevin Fiege and Director Chloe Zhao adds,

The Eternals is something “entirely new and entirely different,”

Like the comics, the film will focus on a group of immortals that have been on Earth for thousands of years. “Through their journey, we really get to explore what it means to be human.”

Much like how Guardians of the Galaxy was first announced, this will probably be the one that most people will have the least amount of knowledge of and that is a good thing. At times, the more obscure we get the better the franchise will become because it is something we have yet to discover on the big screen.

We are getting more Celestials!!!!!

In theaters November 6, 2020

Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings

Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Tony Leung playing the Mandarin, Awkwafina will also be in the film possibly one of  Shang-Chi’s his half-sisters.

Let us just get this out of the way. We are getting the real Mandarin!!! Not that fake crap Shane Black gave us in Iron Man 3! The Mandarin is probably one of the most underrated martial artists in the Marvel universe so getting him in Shang-Chi is the best choice to let everyone know his abilities as martial artists and a genius.

This is probably my most anticipated film of 2021 because of how much I love martial arts film and if Kevin Fiege and Destin Daniel Cretton use films like The Raid, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Hero, or Ip Man I truly believe that this will become one of the best MCU films not only that but one of the best films of 2021!

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

This is something I have dreamed of ever since we got the first Doctor Stange movie hell even before that. We are finally getting deeper into the multiverse, which is very exciting! I remember that almost everyone stopped believing that we will get that multiverse in the MCU because (SPOILER ALERT!) Mysterio lied about it in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Elizabeth Olsen will be joining the film as Scarleyy Witch, and the events of Wanda Vision on Disney+ will feed into the Multiverse of Madness. I am getting the feeling we will be getting a version of House of freaking M here!!! Especially since Scott Derickson said they will be going the horror route.

Thor: Love and Thunder

Taika Waititi did a beautiful job getting people back in the Thor Character and not only that he gave a reason to  Chris Hemsworth on why he should stay and play Thor! So, hearing that Nathali Partman got me very excited and her potential as Female Thor is very high, hell maybe Jane Foster will become a Valkyrie! If that does not get you happy then maybe the Return Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie will.

Black Widow

I remember when people said that this film was too late to be made because many people wanted this a long time ago. Fast forward to now we are getting TASKMASTER!!! We have David Harbour as Red Guardian, Florence Pugh as Yelena, and Rachel Weisz as Melina!

That is one hell of a cast, and once again we are getting Taskmaster! One of the best martial artists in all of marvel comics perfect choice for a Black Widow film.

Scarlett Johanson gave a huge sigh of relief because she can finally talk about the Black Widow film. This is what Scarlett Johanson had to say,

“I feel like a weight has been lifted,”

“We do about seven pages of dialogue this week so maybe [“Black Widow”] is a little different than most Marvel movies,” Johansson said. “There’s lots of talking. I get to talk more. I could tell you that.”

Scarlett Johanson also spoke to Variety saying,

“I think I could have made the film 10 years ago but it would have been a very different film,”

“I think it probably would have been much more of a caricature of a person. I feel after living an extra 10 years and becoming a mother and you know, life and how it happens to you, I feel much more in myself and able to explore all the kind of things that make me uncomfortable and then just lay it out for you guys.

“It feels like I’m a stronger person by the fact that I have embraced my vulnerability,” she continued. “And I think that will make this version of the character really, hopefully, complex.”

We all know her backstory, but we do not know how her character will develop in her solo film, so seeing that in a new way is what I am most excited for and very excited for the fight sequences as well.
