Tom Hiddleston Explains What We Can Expect in Disney+ Loki Series

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”22179″ img_size=”590×350″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Tom Hiddleston stole our hearts when he first appeared on screen as Loki in Thor 1. Since then, Loki had been a staple of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. From the villain that all other baddies were compared to, to tortured soul, and then to finally becoming brothers with Thor, Loki has come a long way. His death in Avengers: Infinity War was made to be his final death. As Thanos said, no more coming back for him.

But, Hiddleston will return for Disney+’s Loki series. What can we expect from the series? Hiddleston explained:

“All I can tell you is that it is called Loki. It is a new departure … but I can’t explain why.”

He had stated early in the interview:

“It is a constant source of surprise and delight that these films have connected with people. I knew he was a complex figure. Intelligent yet vulnerable. Angry and lost and broken and witty. I thought it was an amazing opportunity and it’s grown into this network of movies. I could never have expected it.”

In Avengers: Endgame, we did see Loki again. But, this was not the Loki from the current MCU timeline. The Loki we saw disappear with the Tesseract was 2012 Loki. Not the one who had experienced the events of Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok, or Avengers: Infinity War. Was what happened in Endgame a hint of what we should expect in the Loki series? We’ll have to wait to find out.

Personally, I’m ready!
