Concept Artwork For Zack Snyder’s Justice League Revealed

Aquaman has really done wonders for the DCEU and while we can praise James Wan up and down for the fantastic work he’s done, hype for a Arthur Curry movie began in Justice League with Jason Momoa being brilliantly one of the great things about that film. Zack Snyder had a hand in bringing this newer version of the character to the big screen and new artwork is circulating online from the comic book accurate concept.

As with any movie, there were several mockups done for Aquaman, done by costume designer Michael Wilkinson. Snyder’s version of Aquaman’s suit has a very “fishy” feel to it, which would be a little on the nose considering this is a superhero who can talk to fish. After a while though, this version was cast aside and Snyder opted for what we ended up seeing in Justice League. Although, Wan really blew us out of the water (pun intended) with that gorgeous gold and green suit and there was nothing cheesy about it – it was amazing.

What do you think about these mockup designs? What was your favorite rendition of Aquaman’s costume?
