As cool as a Secret Invasion theory is, having Captain Marvel replaced so quickly by a Skrull would kind of take a lot of the marketing momentum out for viewers. Still, it’s important to look towards the future. After Endgame, what then? And can Endgame even top Infinity War?
“Whether we top Infinity War or not, I don’t know,” Joe Russo said. “But we try to tell the best story we can with these characters. This is bringing to a close the first decade of stories. I think that alone has a dramatic power to it.”
