True Story: Not long after I married and we had our son, we went to visit my brother and his wife in Arkansas. We were talking and laughing until late in the night when for some reason he decided that we needed to see a game he had been playing on XBox. I’m not sure which version it was, but it had to be perhaps the original or perhaps the 2nd Grand Theft Auto. He showed us how you could beat people up and steal their cars, jump out of moving cars, all the things you wouldn’t normally be doing in a polite society. I’m not sure if it was because it was late or we were tired but that game was tremendously fun and we laughed until our sides ached and all we did was steal cars and jump from them. We never said that we were professional gamers.
Well fast forward and there has now been five Grand Theft Autos and fans have been wondering if there was going to be a six. We may have been given a clue to that possibility in the form of a resume from a former employee of RockStar Games who created the GTA franchise. On the former employees resume, amongst his other credits was a remark about “Create concept vehicles match with real world for GTA5 DLC and upcoming GTA6”
This credit has since been removed but the people from Game Rant managed to get a screen shot of the resume:
Whether this means that production for GTA6 has commenced is unclear as RockStar Games have not released any statements about its release. Of course, they were quite busy with Dead Red Redemption 2 for the past few years. Are you fans of GTA ready for another iteration in the franchise?
