Marvel is not only looking at the start of their Phase 4 in the MCU, but also expecting to launch a Disney streaming service. With the studio needing to figure out who to highlight now that some characters are being retired, they’ll need to find new characters to focus on.
Or, at least characters that hadn’t had much of a spotlight prior.
Clint Barton got a substantially bigger role in Avengers: Age of Ultron, from the first Avengers; after Jeremy Renner pointed out the severe lack of screen time in the 2012 movie. We aren’t sure if this solo project will be a movie that will hit the theater or if it’ll be a series on the streaming service, but for right now, we’ll play this as a possibility.
Would you want to see a solo Hawkeye movie or series? Let us know![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
