Richard Bates Jr.’s upcoming film is described as a “pagan comedy”. Called King Knight, Criminal Minds’ Matthew Gray Gubler and Westworld’s Angela Sarafyan are set to star.
King Knight is about a High Priest of a modern-day coven who will confront his past as a former all-American prepster. This is a movie that Gubler himself is financing along with Bates. Joining Gubler and Sarafyan are AnnaLynne McCord, Nelson Franklin, Emily Chang, Johnny Pemberton, Josh Fadem, Kate Comer, Andy Milonakis, Ronnie Gene Blevins, Shane Brady, Barbara Crampton, and Ray Wise.
This will be the fifth feature film that Bates has worked on.
