With the impending premier of the CW’s Batwoman, it hasn’t stopped the show from continuing to add to its cast. Sebastian Roche, who appeared in the Man in the High Castle and The Vampire Diaries, has been brought on to play Dr. Campbell in a reoccurring role. This is in conjunction with yesterday’s announcement of MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow being added as Gotham media personality Vesper Fairchild.
Details for his role have not been revealed as of yet. What is known (per Deadline) is Campbell has been described as one of Gotham’s most well-respected plastic surgeons and philanthropists. While the character’s eventual impact is unknown, the presence of a plastic surgeon might be a hint of a possible future Two-Face involvement. Admittedly, this is supposition at this point but it is apparent that the creative team for the show is not finished their work. Their recent cast additions make that clear.
