Coming in July – Titan Comics Sneak Peek: Eisner Award Winning Writer Dan Slott’s ‘Doctor Who Special 2022’

Eisner Award winning writer Dan Slott has taken on the gammot of comic book royalty. From the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, Justice League, Spider-Man, Silver Surfer, and more. Through them all, Dan has put his imprint on every title he has worked on. Now for Titan Comics, Dan is plying his genius on everyone’s favorite Time Lord, Dr. Who. Coming in July, Doctor Who Special 2022 brings a narrative that includes three new adventures of the 10th Doctor. This comes about when his companion Martha Jones must distract and entertain the Pyromeths who have captured her. At least, that is the goal…until escape is possible.

Working with Dan are artists Christopher Jones (Young Justice), and Matthew Dow Smith (Hellboy, Bad Luck Chuck). In addition, a range of covers will be available including a stunning Cover A by renowned Eisner and Inkpot award-winning artist Adam Hughes (Wonder Woman, Catwoman). Our friends at Titan Comics have sent along this preview of what promises to be a can’t miss event.
