Daredevil’s Charlie Cox Would Still Love to Team Up with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man

As we all collectively cry together over the cancelation of Daredevil, we can imagine the things that would have been or the things that we would have loved to see. One comes from the actor himself, Charlie Cox; as he dove into how he would still love a team-up between his Matt Murdock and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man.

“I mean, this is so crazy, it would never, it would never happen, probably, it’s almost impossible to imagine… and I always feel like I have to say that, because sometimes I say things, I answer these kind of questions and then the Internet takes it as the word of God that this is happening [laughs].” – Cox expressed at a recent convention this past weekend.

“But I really like the Daredevil Spider-Man stuff in the comics, really fun. There’s one issue in particular where Matt Murdock proves that he’s not Daredevil because Daredevil shows up in the court room, and of course it’s Peter Parker wearing the Daredevil suit, which is such a lame alibi [laughs].”

“But it would be so cool to do, you know, something like that,” Cox added. “And I think Tom Holland is an amazing Spider-Man.”

It most likely will never come to light that we will see Cox and Holland’s renditions of their superheroes mash up, but it’s fun to think of. If we can even see the Spider-Man influences in the Daredevil series, with Wilson Fisk being originally a Spider-Man villain, but being the quintessential Daredevil villain in the Netflix series. If there is a TV god, perhaps we could one day get what we’re asking for or at the very least, get Cox into the movie MCU.
