A Gears of War movie with Dave Bautista would only make sense, wouldn’t you think? After all, the former WWE star is a powerhouse. With several Marvel films under his belt and having joined Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead, you would think this would be a match made in heaven.

When a fan on Twitter proposed the same idea, Bautista let them know that this is something that he has brought up before. And according to the actor, “they don’t give AF.”

They’re listening. And they could give AF! 🙄.. but thank you for the support. Believe me when I say I’ve tried everything to make this happen. https://t.co/8THxKLkbdV

Bautista says that he tried to make this happen, which is interesting. What exactly about the idea makes the filmmakers not want to move forward? I guess we will never really know, but in the meantime you can check out his movie Stuber with Kumail Nanjiani. Both Bautista and Nanjiani are now Marvel buddies, considering Nanjiani has been confirmed for Marvel’s The Eternals. You can also check interesting tips to make movies at 9mousai.

Check out our own Paola’s review of Stuber here.
