David Ayer’s upcoming film ‘The Tax Collector’ promises a lot of action and drama for viewers. Shia LaBeouf stars in the movie and if you haven’t noticed, he’s gone through quite the transformation. Apparently, this transformation is permanent. Whatever you want to say about Shia, you have to admire his dedication and admiration for Ayer.
For Ayer’s film, LaBeouf got his entire torso inked up. This includes a giant clown and the word “creeper”. Ayer confirmed this in an interview for Slash Film.
In this interview, Ayer also revealed what it was like working with Shia again, as the two worked on the war film Fury together:
“He’s one of the best actors I’ve worked with, and he’s the most committed to body and soul. He had a tooth pulled on Fury, and then on Tax Collector, he got his whole chest tattooed. So he kind of goes all in, and I’ve never known anyone that committed.”
The Tax Collector will be available in theaters and on-demand on August 7th.
