DC Comic Review: Hawkman #15

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”28118″ img_size=”411×623″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Carter Hall is on the run in Hawkman #15. By who? Maybe the question should be, by what?

In this new issue, Hawkman takes a step in the mystical and unusual. Taken into the care of his old friend Richard, we see what has been after Carter. What has him so shaken up. Carl Sands, the living shadow; has taken Hawkman’s and is on a mission to find him. It’s nearly impossible to run from him, even where Richard takes him as a form of sanctuary.

With little twists and turns, Hawkman #15 is interesting enough to keep you reading and wanting to know more of the story. There isn’t a lot of action, but Hawkman’s flair for brutality is sprinkled in here and there. Overall, there is a lot of dialogue in this issue. A lot of catching up as far as explaining goes, which helps you get a feel for the story. This issue was almost along the lines of a fun-house mirror, taking a step into the direction of something you may not be used to in Hawkman stories.

The zaniness of this story was illustrated well and we were able to get the emotions from each character how you would want to feel. There were also enough little twists and turns to keep everything exciting. We know that we will be stepping into unknown territory in the next issue and I would highly recommend this one for a nice reprieve.[/vc_column_text][vc_images_carousel images=”28119,28120,28121,28122,28123″ img_size=”411×631″ speed=”3000″ autoplay=”yes” wrap=”yes”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
