For some odd strange reason that has absolutely nothing to do with the comic issue, I keep thinking about Dr. Strangelove. Anyone else? Just me.

Okay, settle in for a massive 85-page comic book that will go through love connections in all parts of the galaxy to deception and love by Darkseid, regret and heartbreak in the Green Lantern Corps, and perhaps the perfect gal for a guy like Bizzaro. Every story is different, much like The Batman Adventures: Mad Love. PS – loved the “Galentine’s Day” reference for Hawkgirl’s story.

Don’t worry, though; if you are worried this is just a mushy, Valentine’s Day ploy to amp up the Hallmark Holiday, fear not. There is definitely action, especially in Hawkgirl’s tale with Kendra, Starfire, and Jessica Cruz kicking ass.

The animation in this comic book is really gorgeous and consists of sleek, bold lines and bright colors. There even seemed to be an LGBT relationship at some point, although unfortunately, it seemed like that was a *spoiler* ploy for something sinister. Come now, comic book writers; let’s normalize same-sex relationships and not have them turn out evil!

Overall, a great issue to read if you’re wanting multiple adventures in one. I wouldn’t say this is the kind of issue that you’ll be so excited to flip through, but it’s still enjoyable to take your time and maybe bookmark in between stories!

Final Verdict: Go Buy This!
