‘DC FanDome’ Virtual Event Planned For August?

A new report from The GWW indicates that Warner Bros and DC  are planning a huge virtual event on August 22 that will run for only 24 hours. The event will begin at 10 am PDT. During the 24 hours there is expected to be news covering film, television, video games and of course DC Comics.

Some of the titles expected to be present at the event are Matt Reeves The Batman, The Suicide Squad from James Gunn, Wonder Woman 1984, and Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam.  On the TV front; Titans, Doom Patrol and Stargirl are expected to take part. Since the games are also mentioned does this mean we could get the reveal of a new Batman game or maybe something else related? We could also be getting the first trailer for Zack Snyder’s Justice League as well. So many possibilities.

GWW reports the event will have exclusive never before seen footage and special presentations. With this news breaking one has to assume this means DC will be skipping the Comic Con @ Home event. Right now DC nor WB have made any official announcements regarding this event so we await to see if there is more details revealed to confirm this report.

What do you make of this news? What do you hope to see?
