However, the original incarnation of the character premiered in 1940 in All Star Comics #16. Alan Scott was his name and he used his magical power ring just as Hal Jordan did. Scott, however, was one of the founding members of the Justice Society.
Scott’s appearance on the show is based on information gathered by insider Lance Ausfresser in the Stargirl Facebook group. If true, he will join what could be a full ensemble of characters. These will include Hourman, Wildcat, S.T.R.I.P.E, Tigress, Sportsmaster, and Dragon King. In addition, it is also been rumored that Brainwave Jr., Artemis, Solomon Grundy, and Icicle Jr. could also be making an appearance in the series.
