News just broke not long ago that Sony had hired Equalizer 2 writer Richard Wenk to write the screenplay for their Spider-Man spin off film, Kraven. Sony seems full steam ahead with this film and hopes that Venom will be the beginning of a beautiful cinematic universe that does not include Spider-Man at this time. Deadpool 2 actor Stefan Kapicic who plays the X-Men mutant Colossus has already began his quest to join the film as Kraven and even Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld has signed off on it. Stefan posted this to his personal Instagram account.
Stefan for sure fits the build to play Kraven, he stands 6’4 and speaks Russian. In the comics Kraven is a Russian supervillain whose main enemy is Spider-Man though Kraven has crossed paths with other heroes such as Black Panther and anti-heroes like Venom. We got a chance to sit down and speak with Stefan before Deadpool 2 came out and Stefan is awesome so we at Geek Vibes Nation are rooting for ya big guy!
