Debut Season Of The CW’s Reimagining Of ‘Kung Fu’ Heads To Blu-Ray This November From Warner Bros.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has just announced that they will be bringing The CW’s Kung Fu: Season 1 to Blu-Ray and DVD on November 2, 2021. Olivia Liang (Dating After College, Legacies) stars as Nicky Shen in the reimagined version of the legendary 1970s series, which finds a young Chinese-American woman protecting her community and bringing criminals to justice. Kung Fu season one also stars Kheng Hua Tan (Marco Polo) as Mei-Li Shen, Eddie Liu (Never Have I Ever) as Henry Yan, Shannon Dang (Sorry for Your Loss) as Althea Shen, Jon Prasida (Hiding) as Ryan Shen, Gavin Stenhouse (9-1-1) as Evan Hartley, Vanessa Kai (New Amsterdam) as Pei-Ling Zhang, Tony Chung as Dennis Soong and Tzi Ma (Veep) as Jin Shen. Yvonne Chapman (Street Legal) recurs as Zhilan Zhang.

Synopsis: A quarter-life crisis causes young Chinese-American woman Nicky Shen to drop out of college and journey to an isolated monastery in China. But when she returns to San Francisco, she finds her hometown is overrun with crime and corruption and her parents are at the mercy of a powerful Triad. Nicky will right wrongs while searching for the assassin who killed her Shaolin mentor.
