Did Avengers: Endgame Contain a Captain Britain Easter Egg?

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”20910″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]If you’ve seen Avengers: Endgame, you probably noticed that the film was full of callbacks and Easter Eggs, which are always fun to catch. Not everyone catches them all (no, that’s not a Pokemon reference), but luckily that is what the internet is for.

According to Reddit users u/droideka75 and u/wolfthang88, Endgame made a slight reference to Captain Britain. While Steve Rogers goes back to the 1970s, he sees Peggy Carter at Camp Lehigh, though; she doesn’t notice him. According to these Reddit users due to closed captioning, Peggy is mentioning an incident that involved a supernatural occurrence and Peggy says it was “not lightning” and also goes on to mention that agent “Braddock” has not checked in. Brian Braddock is Captain Britain in the comics, so was Agent Carter making a reference to this Marvel character?

With Chris Evans retiring from playing Captain America and Sam Wilson seemingly the next to take up the mantle, is Marvel also preparing to bring in England’s superhero for the future of the MCU? With so many characters retired and it is known that Kevin Feige is looking to shine light on different characters, is Captain Britain next?

Would you want to see Captain Britain in the MCU and what Easter Eggs did you find?
