Director M. Night Shyamalan Not Likely to Make Glass Sequel

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/Q7ztHi9ejp4″ align=”center”][vc_column_text]As we ready ourselves for the next installment in M. Night Shyamalan’s world, the director reveals that he is unlikely to make a sequel to the anticipated Glass movie. The 2019 film will be the third installment, after 2000’s Unbreakable and last year’s Split. Talk about a long time coming! Glass will bring in Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, and the insanely talented James McAvoy in for this conclusive trilogy. Fans were teased at the end of Split where Bruce Willis’s David Dunn spoke about Jackson’s Mr. Glass and we recently got an insane trailer for this looked forward to project.

In regards to the trilogy and not wanting to do another, the director spoke:

“I don’t want to relive stuff and I don’t want to be an opportunist, that’s not the relationship that I have with the audience, that I aspire to. My aspiration is they know they’re going to get an original thriller every single time. That’s where my taste go, so I’m going to say no right now.”

It’s understandable that he’d want to break away from this series and move on to a next, but considering that Split tied into a film nearly twenty years its senior, who knows if he decides to continue later down the line. Are you looking forward to Glass? Let us know!
