Disney has officially announced that the critically-acclaimed Encanto will be available to own on Digital on December 24, and on 4K UHD Blu-Ray, Blu-Ray and DVD on February 8, 2022. The 60th film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios, it was directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard and co-directed by writer Charise Castro Smith, with original songs written by Lin-Manuel Miranda.
The film stars the voices of Stephanie Beatriz, María Cecilia Botero, John Leguizamo, Mauro Castillo, Jessica Darrow, Angie Cepeda, Carolina Gaitán, Diane Guerrero, and Wilmer Valderrama. The release touts the film in stunning Ultra HD quality and Dolby Atmos with a variety of bonus features including never-before-seen featurettes, deleted scenes and more. Get the details below!
Synopsis: Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Encanto, with all-new songs by award-winner Lin-Manuel Miranda, tells the tale of the Madrigals, an extraordinary family living in a magical house in the mountains of Colombia.
