Disney+ Releases New Synopses For Their Marvel TV Shows

The TV Spot for Disney+’s upcoming Marvel series delivered in a big way. Fans were treated to their first looks of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier show, WandaVision, and the Loki series. Each promised to bring viewers an epic experience and it was a welcomed treat during the Superbowl. Luckily, we have more gifts, as the official synopsis for each series featured in that 30-second trailer has been shared with us. Look below!

THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER

Following the events of “Avengers: Endgame,” Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) team up in a global adventure that tests their abilities—and their patience—in Marvel Studios’ “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.” The all-new series is directed by Kari Skogland; Malcolm Spellman is the head writer. Debuts on Disney+ this fall.

WANDAVISION

Marvel Studios’ “WandaVision” blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems. The new series is directed by Matt Shakman; Jac Schaeffer is head writer. Debuts on Disney+ this year.

LOKI

In Marvel Studios’ “Loki,” the mercurial villain Loki (Tom Hiddleston) resumes his role as the God of Mischief in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.” Kate Herron directs and Michael Waldron is head writer. Debuts on Disney+ next year—2021.

Here is the TV spot shown during the Superbowl.

We knew that The Falcon and The Winter Soldier show would have the feel of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, but could we ever be prepared for the epicness that was Sam Wilson throwing the shield? I don’t think so. This excitement also includes seeing Wanda in her comic-book accurate costume and the teasing of her and Vision’s twins. And, considering Loki has just started production, who thought we’d even get one second of screen time? Even though Loki’s spot in the teaser was short, it promised a lot. TVA? “I’m going to burn this place to the ground?” It sounds like a promise and we’re here for it.
