Apparently, Disney is spending a lot of money on these upcoming projects. For Star Wars, we have The Mandalorian and a Diego Luna led-series and from the MCU, we have Loki, Scarlet Witch and Vision, as well as (maybe) Lady Sif all getting their own shows. With titles of this caliber, it’s easy to see why they’d cost a lot, but that’s not a problem for the large organization.
One top television agent commented:
“They’re [Disney] willing to spend real money on those shows,” referring to the Star Wars and Marvel properties.
Considering they’d need to bring back Tom Hiddleston for Loki, Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany for Scarlet Witch and Vision, and Luna for Cassian Andor, this adds up. But, it is also being reported that as far as Disney+’s originals, it’s not going to be shelling out as much money as say Netflix, Amazon, and others hand out for their original content.
What are you looking forward to on Disney+ and what would you like to see?
