Doctor Strange 2 Could Start Filming At End of Year

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”8479″ img_size=”800×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]According to Jeremy Conrad, Doctor Strange 2 could start filming sooner than we thought. Unfortunately, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 has been delayed, for reasons I’m assuming everyone knows about. This leaves openings where other MCU films could fit into, including the sequel to Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange. As a mystical master of sorcery and protector of the realms, even Stephen Strange didn’t survive the snap in Avengers: Infinity War, but we can assume he’s coming back as a sequel for his franchise is confirmed.

Benedict Wong attended a Fan Expo in Vancouver this weekend and while he could not say much about Avengers 4, fans report that he does hope that filming for the sequel will begin at the end of this year. Scott Derrickson will come back to direct and I can assume we’ll have just a movie just as visually beautiful as the first one, with now Stephen Strange fully committed to is role as the protector of the realms, and hopefully we’ll see some cameos from the other MCU films, as it seems the good doctor has learned to work with others.

Whether Doctor Strange 2 takes Guardians of the Galaxy’s 2020 spot is unconfirmed, but we’ll let you know as we find out more.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
